Our ongoing project is Acaris, a Daggerheart actual-play centered around a ragtag group of outcasts and oddballs in a world that has taken up arms against magic. The Empire of the Last Mages of the Seventh Order has successfully dominated the continent, creating an era of peace by locking away the Arcanum, the magical force that once flowed freely through the world. There’s just one problem. A thousand years later, this magic seems to be fighting back, crawling its way into the greater world in a form that is twisted, blighted, changed.

Our heroes navigate this dangerous world, unlocking its true history and secrets in the face of the Order’s propaganda. Perhaps they will find camaraderie and a chance to make history… or perhaps they will join what lurks in the shadows behind them.
